A smooth flat knit runs through the body of this cardigan, with ribbing worked into the cuffs, the hem and the front placket so those edges stay firm. Wooden buttons fasten the placket from the base of the hood down to the hip. The hood is cut deep and threaded with a drawcord that can be pulled in around the face. Two pockets are set into the front seams, and the long sleeves keep an easy width before closing at the rib cuffs.
