This is a chelsea cut in a grained faux leather that has a soft hand and holds a rounded shape rather than collapsing at the ankle. Inside, a faux shearling lining runs the full boot and turns over at the opening, so there is padding where the shaft meets the leg and warmth across the whole foot once the temperature drops. The elastic panel at the side stretches as the foot goes in and a zipper takes over the rest of the work, which means the boot can be pulled on without wrestling with it. The low block heel is cut with a slanted front that moves the step forward, and the thin sole keeps the boot flat and quiet on hard floors.
