This bomber is cut from a matte polyamide shell with a faint sheen, light enough to carry through the milder part of fall without adding bulk under the arms. The body sits away from the torso with a relaxed line, and the ribbed collar, cuffs and hem pull the shape back in so the jacket stays put when you move. The center front zipper runs straight and feeds smoothly, the seams are finished flat on the inside, and the polyester lining lets the sleeves slide over a sweater instead of catching on it. It comes out of a cool gentle wash without losing its shape, dries quickly on a hanger, and the surface smooths itself as it dries, so pressing is rarely needed.
