A thin hooded puffer built on a satin finished polyamide shell, quilted into narrow horizontal channels that keep the polyester fill evenly spread instead of letting it drift toward the hem. The jacket carries almost no weight on the shoulders and folds into a compact bundle you can push into a bag, which is most of the point of owning it. The attached hood and the high inner collar close off the top of the chest, the plain cuffs sit flat under another sleeve, and the welt pockets stay flush with the body. Washed cold and tumbled on low heat, the fill lofts back up on its own and the quilted channels return to their original spacing.
