Narrow horizontal stripes run across a light cotton knit, carried through the body and down the full length of the sleeves. At the neck the striping stops and a plain woven collar takes over in a solid contrasting tone, opening into a wide V at the front with no buttons to close it. The body is cut close without pressing, the sleeves follow the arm to a plain finished edge, and the hem sits straight across the hip. The collar is cut from a flat woven cloth rather than knit in.
